Maker Faire showcases the amazing work of all kinds and ages of makers—anyone who is embracing the do-it-yourself (or do-it-together) spirit and wants to share their accomplishments with an appreciative audience.
Developers, artists, and enthusiasts will display their ideas at the 2nd Annual Albuquerque Mini-Maker Faire, August 2013, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Applications are sought from people and groups with engaging, cool projects.

Entries: The first step to participating in this Mini Maker Faire is to submit an entry that tells us about yourself and your project. Entries can be submitted from individuals as well as from groups such as hobbyist clubs and schools. Please provide a short description of what you make and what you will actually bring to the Mini Maker Faire. Please link to photographs or videos of what you make. Maker exhibits should be non-commercial. We particularly encourage exhibits that are interactive and that highlight the process of making things. *Note: Makers whose entries are accepted will receive free registration to Mini Maker Faire. However, we cannot pay for transportation, accommodations, or other costs.
Who are we looking for?
Makers : Individuals, groups, schools and organizations that would like to demonstrate what they make and/or how it works; interactive exhibits are encouraged. For Maker groups, please have one point person to coordinate your efforts. No fee to exhibit for non-commercial exhibits.
Presentation : Individuals and groups who would like to talk about an idea or project of interest to the Maker community, OR makers who are interested in demonstrating what they make and how it works in a stage setting. Presentations are typically 20 or 50 minutes, with some time for Q&A.
Music/Dance Performer : Musicians and entertainers who would like to perform at Maker Faire.
Artists/Poets/Authors: The Make community includes everyone from Artists to Writers. Sign up if you would like to perform our present your art or do a reading.

Crafters: If you are an indie crafter, and your primary intent is to sell your products at Maker Faire, you may apply too!! Both Commercial Makers and Craft/Art vendors are a part of Maker Faire. Commercial Makers exhibit in various areas of the event, demonstrating what they make and selling as an side-addition to their DIY demonstration, not the focus of their exhibit.
